There is evidence that music has a positive effect on human health. Scientists have found that certain music can help boost our brain activity. Listening to music calms and relaxes anxiety. This can really help during a big game or competition. Music also has the ability to pump a person up and help them get ready for the game. Athletes use a music to get them ready mentally and can play a big effect on how the play and ultimately the outcome of the game.
However, there is some danger for the lovers of modern pop, rock, and rap music. Experts believe that this kind of music has a very high rhythm which can have a negative effect on teen’s health. Loud music especially, when using headphones has a bad effect to human health.
Most teenagers have no idea that loud music may cause hearing loss. This causes a higher risk of depression, can reduce speed and accuracy of movements, as well as a slower thought processes. When people listen to it, they can’t perform school activates as well, but some say that listening to music while working out can simulate brain activity to work harder. Scientists say that both loud music and silence can have a bad effect on human performance.
Some say that listening to music can help when working on school work to a certain extent when it becomes a distraction is when it becomes a problem. However calming music can cause a person to be more focused and to think more clearly.
Every teen, child and adult should remember that there are ups and downs to music in today’s society; it’s how we as individuals choose to use the new and improved form of music.
