About Us:
Reflections
Education is the premise of progress. It is indeed, the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today. Learning never exhausts the mind. It never stops.
Long-established customs found in many schools do not allow students to experiment with new concepts. Their learning is put to a halt at a certain stage; they end up cramming concepts, and are unable to produce anything fruitful, except generic answers to exam questions.
Learning powered by technology engages students in participatory learning experiences in and out of the classroom. Learning outside the classroom makes learning more relevant and helps nurture creativity and imagination.
Global Virtual Classroom’s Web Design Contest exposed us to new opportunities. It unclipped our wings and gave us freedom to explore. We were able to let our imagination run wild and ended up with some very creative results.
The convergence of innovation and creativity has always driven the adoption of new collaboration systems in our flat world. The Web Design Contest made it possible for us to cross cultural and geographical boundaries. Its collaborative tools enabled us to share, create, discuss and manage information.
Learning to collaborate creatively with people from other cultures is a vital skill in today’s world. Creativity, we believe, is about the recombination of existing ideas. Our efforts clearly indicate that combining ideas that haven’t been connected before creates the potential to produce something new and useful.
Culture changes the way people interact and communicate. The confluence of diverse cultures can create opportunities for innovation and in the last few months, we have been able to reap the benefits of creative collaboration. We had been deeply involved in cross-cultural interactions, making this experience extremely pleasurable.
Learning beyond the classroom helps acquire important life and social skills. It improves communication skills, self-confidence and relationships.

Working in collaboration with teachers and students is a learning experience for me and my students. I felt really happy to see my students working on this website with enthusiasm and sharing information and working in a team with students of US and Russia .Students also got chance to go beyond their academics and to do some practical work. This type of competition is really useful to empower, enable and connect students of different countries

Working on an activity based on teenage issues helped me to understand myself and moreover my peers better at individual level. It has helped me to look beyond myself and explore the world of teens.

This competition of making website has given me a feeling of accomplishment and a better view of how research is done. It gives one an inner satisfaction, when we realise that we have done our bit in bringing about a small change by providing solutions to teenage problems on a global platform.
