Helping Focus - Salakhov's Gymnasia, Surgut

Students in our school take part in different charity campaigns. We regularly meet with the children from underprivileged families and play games with them. They love it when we come to see them and we feel very happy that we can make their life a little brighter.

We also participate in the annual event – sending “sweet letters” to soldiers – young men who serve in the army. We send them sweets, biscuits and other tasty things together with a letter in which we wish them luck and say that we are proud of them.

Last autumn we also collected and sent different warm things (blankets, pillows, clothes) to people who suffered from a terrible flood in the east of Russia.

We believe that we all can do our bit to make life better for people who need our help and encouragement.
