Time Management - Sports

There are a lot of teen athletes in the world. About 55.5 percent of students participate in a sport (US News). However most athletic programs demand time for just that sport. This can cause problem of when a student is going to sleep, eat, and get their school work done as well. Time management is what we would call this.

Sports

For athletes the time spent doing stuff to the sport is important to their individual performance. Some athletes have to learn a playbook, practice, watch film and some may work outside practice as well. These things suck up most the time in the day, after they are done with school. Being able to take the time to preform your best and do all the other things takes a lot of time management. Good time management can allow an athlete to do more for their sport after they finish doing the rest of their work.

Student

The important part about being a student-athlete is that student comes first. Getting your work done in the classroom is as important as getting it done for the sport. Taking the time to properly do homework or study is a very important to the student part of student-athletes and time management also plays a key in that too.

How to Time Manage

The big key to time management is to mange time well, especially for student-athletes. This requires a person to focus when they have to focus and spending little time doing pointless tasks or getting distracted when doing work like homewore. Little things such as facebook and texting can take up a lot of time that work can or could have been done. The more productive a person is the more time they have to practice or spend time doing other things such as sleep.

Background

My topic is time management for teen student-athletes.This connects to sports issues for teens because student athelets have to master managing their time wisely to get everything thet need to done, or else there is gonna be a lot of stress and frustration with being so busy all the time. This issue can cause sometime sa lot of stress and health problems such as lack of sleep or exhaustion. These problems are fairly serious considering the greater affect they can have if it continues on and the problems will too. Since so many people play a sport in high school and time management is a serious issue fo almost everyone depending n how busy everyone of them is. I am helping this problem by putting information about the topic and how to wisely manage time, and showing the biggest traps of poor time management. My suggestion for time management is to know what you have to get done and when you want to get it done. There are a lot of websites for all student-athletes on how to manage time correctly and what not to do.
